Wooden laptop stand

Raising the screen towards eye level is the single change that does most for a laptop workstation. Without it you look down all day and the weight of your head loads the cervical spine at an angle. With the screen raised you also gain room underneath for an external keyboard.

Two versions

19 mm oak is the heavier, more solid option. It does not move when you type on the laptop keyboard and it looks like furniture rather than an accessory.

6 mm plywood is the light, slim option. It is the one to take with you if you work from several places.
