oriBag™ – a felt case cut to fit your keyboard
A keyboard I spend days building by hand should not travel wrapped in a t-shirt. oriBag is cut to the outline of one specific model, so the board does not slide around inside or knock against your laptop.
Hundreds have left my workshop over the last three years. Not one has ever come back because it failed.
One piece of felt, folded like origami
Small cases are cut from a single piece of 5 mm PET felt. Larger keyboards take two pieces, the biggest three, so every case matches the board it was made for.
The main pocket closes with a magnet, so your keyboard comes out in one smooth motion. Undo the snaps and the whole case unfolds flat and rolls into a drawer. Unlike a hard case, it takes up almost no space when you are not travelling.
The snaps and rivets are the military-spec type used in MiG-29 cockpits. They do not fall off and they do not pop open in a backpack.
No seams, no zips, no weave
There are no seams to split and no zip to jam. Felt has no weave either, so there are no threads to fray or pull loose. I even tried tearing a 4 cm strip apart with both hands. I couldn't.
Recycled material
The felt is 100% recycled PET and it comes from Poland. It is light, springy and absorbs impact, so it protects a keyboard better than a rigid case of the same thickness.
The felt carries a hygiene certificate from the Polish National Institute of Hygiene – it has been tested for skin contact.
Made in my workshop
Laser-cut and assembled by me in Poland. The shoulder strap and all its hardware are 3D printed here in PETG instead of being imported. Every oriBag is made after you order it.
