Not a clock with a keyboard motif. This is the actual outline of a FalbaTech split keyboard, cut from solid acacia at wall scale, thumb cluster and all.

A note on the photographs

The photographs show earlier oak pieces. The TimeKey is now made from solid acacia, which has a warmer tone and a more varied grain than the oak shown here. New photographs are on the way. The shape, thickness and movement are unchanged.

Every model in the lineup

The TimeKey wall clock is cut from the same files used to make the keyboards themselves, so the silhouette is exact. Choose Redox, Corne, ErgoDox, Sofle, Atreus, Let's Split, ErgoDash or GH60. Each keeps its own proportions - a GH60 hangs long and low, an ErgoDox spreads wide. If you own one, there is a clock shaped like it.

Silent movement, no ticking

Silent sweep quartz movement, no ticking, no second hand. Suited to a home office, bedroom or anywhere a ticking clock would get in the way. The movement is screwed to the body of the clock rather than held by a single nut through the face, so it cannot work loose over time. A rechargeable AA cell is included, so there is no disposable battery and nothing to buy.

Solid acacia wood

Made from solid acacia lamella board, 22 mm thick. Each lamella carries a slightly different tone, so the face reads as a mosaic of warm browns across an already unusual shape. Finished with a hand-rubbed oil blend that feeds the grain and protects it.

CNC machined, hand finished

Cut on the same machine as the keyboards, then sanded, oiled and assembled by hand in a one-man workshop in Poland. Twelve years of building split keyboards, applied to something that hangs on a wall.
