Oak and steel headphone stand
Headphones left on the desk get knocked over, sat on and scratched. Hung on a hook screwed under the desk, the headband slowly deforms. A proper stand solves both: the arc supports the headband along its whole width, so the padding keeps its shape.
Two materials, two jobs
The base is solid oak, milled on a CNC and hand-finished. It gives the stand the weight it needs to stay put when you pull the headphones off in a hurry. The arm is steel, thin enough to stay out of the way visually.
