Wireless conversion service
Your keyboard already works and you like how it feels. The only thing bothering you is the cable running across the desk. This service takes care of exactly that, without you having to buy a new keyboard.
I replace the Arduino Pro Micro controller with a nice!nano v2 or a compatible wireless controller, fit a battery, flash ZMK firmware and set up your layout.
What you get
- Bluetooth Low Energy connection
- 1000 mAh battery, charged over USB-C
- ZMK firmware with ZMK Studio support, so the layout is edited in a browser
- Your existing layout carried over, unless you want changes
- Testing on macOS, Windows and Linux before shipping
Before you order
Not every PCB can take a wireless controller, and the space for a battery has to exist inside the case. Write to me with a photo of your board and I will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing on your particular keyboard.

Your keyboard is already visiting our workshop—why not let it enjoy a spa treatment before heading back home?
Over time, dust, hair, crumbs and other debris build up underneath the keycaps and around the switches. During our Keyboard SPA service, we carefully clean your keyboard inside and out, leaving it looking and feeling much fresher.
The service includes:
- Removal of all keycaps
- Cleaning of keycaps
- Dust and debris removal from between switches
- Thorough interior cleaning
- Exterior cleaning of the case
- Reassembly and final functional check
Why this is not a DIY job
Desoldering a Pro Micro takes a hot air station and a steady hand. Most attempts end with a damaged PCB, and then it is the board that needs replacing, not the controller. That is why I do this myself.
Sometimes the battery will not fit inside the original case. In that case I modify the bottom part or replace it with one that takes the battery. This is included in the price, at no extra cost.
This service is available only together with another workshop service (such as Bluetooth conversion, repair or upgrade), as your keyboard must already be at our workshop.
Please note that Keyboard SPA is a cleaning service. It does not include repairs, switch replacement or restoration of cosmetic damage.
