I’ve been using the AKUWRIST for a week now, and I can already feel the difference. I was a bit skeptical at first, but the brass nails really work – they gently stimulate my wrists and keep me from resting them too rigidly on the desk. As a result, I feel less strain after long typing sessions. It also looks amazing – the oak wood is beautiful, and the swappable neoprene insert is a great touch for days when I want something softer. I’m really happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone who types a lot.

AKUWRIST™, handcrafted oak wrist rest with brass acupressure nails
A wrist rest that does a little more than hold your hand up. Polished brass nails are set into the oak body and press gently on the points along the inside of your wrist while you work.
The idea comes from the foot acupressure mats I have been making for years. The principle is the same: steady, distributed pressure instead of one hard point. The sensation is noticeable at first and stops registering after a few days.
