The Let’s Split v2 DIY Kit is a complete builder’s set for anyone who wants to assemble their own compact ergonomic split keyboard.

This kit combines CNC-milled wooden cases, Mill-Max hotswap sockets, and a clean two-piece construction that delivers stability, precision, and a unique natural aesthetic.

All components are matched, organized, and prepared for self-assembly and soldering.

Solid Two-Piece Wooden Case

Each half of the case is made from two blocks of wood:

• a CNC-milled top with the switch plate carved directly into it
• a solid wooden bottom

This ensures:

• excellent rigidity
• long-term durability
• a seamless natural look

Available materials: bamboo or beech, finished with natural oil or dark stain.

Mill-Max Hotswap Sockets

PCBs include Mill-Max hotswap sockets, allowing you to install Cherry MX-compatible switches without soldering them directly.

Perfect for experimenting with different switch types and sound profiles.

Ergonomic Split Design

The split layout encourages natural hand and wrist alignment, reducing strain during long typing or coding sessions.

Compact and ideal for travel or minimal desk setups.

Cherry MX Switch Compatibility

Supports all Cherry MX-style switches (not included).

Recommended EU-sourced original Cherry MX options:

Brown, Black, Red, Silent Red, Silver Speed, Clear, Blue, Green.

Designed in XDA geometry but with DSA height.

3D-printed from PETG in black, white, or custom colors.
